The first post.
I am delighted to start what I believe will be a useful tool of interaction with people passionate about art.
In my first post I will not evaluate any specific theme or subject related to art, but I would like to underline the importance of 'talking about art'. It is essential in my opinion, not to relegate art discussions only to museums or galleries, but to create the habit of evaluating and challenging our taste constantly. Art is all about passion and taste, which cannot be universal, but is part of a long process subjective thinking.
This subjectivity can be reflected in our investment choices, or more easily in the next art exhibition we will decide to visit, but it is important to share our views.
Subjective thinking might clash with the objective rules imposed on the art market by galleries and curators, but will definitely increase the ability we have to evalulate a work of art and create a personal view which will not be necessary linked to the trend of the moment.
